beka stays healthy : broiled berry oatmeal

I wish I could tell you how good this oatmeal is…

Let’s talk about the building blocks, which are ridiculously easy to implement:

Base:

Old-fashioned oats, microwaved with water

Almond milk, cinnamon, and vanilla mixed in to taste

Topping:

Raspberries, quartered cherries, walnuts

A generous sprinkling of brown sugar

Pop it under the broiler for about 5 minutes or until the top gets nicely golden-hued. Add in a little extra milk and enjoy!

(And trust me…you will.)
